Here is a wonderfully soft combination of two nylon components tightly twisted: a row of little bumps, which we offer alone as Pebbles, and a short continuous eyelash. The resulting knitted fabric is incredibly soft to the touch, bulky and cushy in the hand, with a haze of soft hairs that are silky smooth and read as fur. We love this for baby blankets, accessories, throws and outerwear. It is a great companion to Pebbles, which when doubled is the same gauge, and also to Bubbles, as in our scarf from Book 38 and jacket or tunic from Book 37 (see detail below). As with most of our yarns, Surf is available in all of our hand dyed colors, but the sampling below should give you an idea of how it dyes.
