What a marriage! We have selected bamboo, for its drape, sheen and soft
hand, and teamed it with a cotton ply for stability and a touch of crispness.
I love the contrast of sheen and matte that occurs, as well as the subtley
different dye effects (bamboo takes dye more deeply) that impart a certain
tweediness. Rapport is lovely in all of our hand
dyed colors, but is truly spectacular in our new Layers™
style of dyeing. This is a fabulous yarn for kicky skirts with swing,
lady-like jackets and tees with a summer state of mind!
