NEW HAND DYED COLORS FOR FALL 2008

Our new colors for Fall 2008 are right in line with ready-to-wear, led off by the sophistication of Shadow, a neutral gray with slight bluish overtones. Very subtle and tonal, as is Plum Dandy, a confection of lush plummy tones with slight variations of bluish/purple. Portofino is predominantly khaki with accents of coral, rose and periwinkle--like Gelato, a lighter, brighter color that is kept from being sweet by the preponderance of khaki and gold.

NEW YARNS FOR FALL!
check back in a few days--I'm working as fast as I can!

MANHATTAN: cool delight of two types of nylon with cotton and rayon, all spliced together in random stripes. We adore this yarn! At 5 sts per inch, it is the perfect transeasonal, slightly textured yarn for any type of garment. The fiber content allows our unique double dyeing system, so the colors are rich and fantastic.

RETURN OF BIWA: our classic textured Biwa in rayon has a new mill,
and it is better than ever! Named after fresh water oddly shaped biwa pearls, Biwa is a great complement to Tencel.

TENCEL: fabulous classic knitted tape made of fine threads of 100% Tencel. The construction keeps the yarn smooth and sleek--no pilling here! Flexible knitted tubing makes a fabric with superior draping qualities, and the colors are clear, clean and intense. We love it in sandwashed solids as well as hand dyes.
