Frost is a superbly soft, spongy yarn made from two different permutations of nylon. One provides the cushy softness, while another adds glimmery soft hairs that reflect light magically. The overall effect is subtly shiny, but would not be out of place for day wear. Imagine frost covered vegetation in the early morning sunlight and you'll understand where the name came from! The hand when knit has good body and retention with a very enticing, luxurious feel. The little hairs are as soft as the base nylon, so no scratchiness here! As with all of our hand dyed yarns except StuffTM and Double Dyes, Frost is available in all of our hand dyed colors. Below is a sampling to give you an idea of how it dyes.
