Here is a great chunky wool loop that is soft as a cloud and as light as air! Fun to knit on a large needle, the loops fill in and create a fluffy thick fabric you will love. High quality wool keeps the touch soft and cushy--nothing scratchy here. We've created a fingertip length swing coat that has great body and only took 12 skeins for a medium-- you can see it in book 42 in a few weeks. Curlz comes in all of our hand dyed colors.
Alpine Terra Cotta
Here's a great version of Berta Karapetyan's A-Line Jacket from Runway Knits, published by Potter Craft, 2007. Found on page 152, the cute swingy jacket looks perfect in Curlz. The only alteration we made was to eliminate the knit-in buttonholes and finish the front and bottom edge with 2 rows of single crochet and a row of reverse single crochet using two strands of Quicksilver and an H hook. We made button loops on the right side in the 2nd row of single crochet, then worked back over them with reverse sc. Shown here in Cantina.
