Another new favorite, our Tencel Tape is the first 100% Tencel knitting yarn I have found. I love it for all the same reasons I buy so many clothes of woven Tencel--the colors are saturated and exquisite, the hand is silky smooth and soft, there is superior drape and Tencel is highly eco-friendly. Made from sustainable trees, Tencel has far more moisture absorbing capability than cotton, takes dye beautifully resulting in much less dye usage, and is hypo-allergenic and breathable. The knitted construction leads to a durable yarn with lovely stitch definition. Tencel comes in all 64 of our hand dyed colors, and is equally lovely in our range of 69 sand washed solids. Interchangeable with Manhattan, but with a more classic look. We'll have more colors up in a few weeks, but here are a few to give you an idea.
