Here is a great blending yarn that can also work on its own. A brushed hair on a chained base, Pouf has all of the softness of Angora, with no shedding, no allergens, less warmth and at much less cost (not that Angora isn't worth every penny!). The hand is incredibly soft and silky. We like it best mixed with another yarn to pump up the gauge, stabilize the fabric and add additional texture and color. Pouf comes in all of our hand dyed colors. Here is a small sampling:
