Diana, like Athena, is a knitted tube. However, where Athena is stuffed with a nylon core to keep it round, Diana is empty and thus flattens and rolls when knit, forming a less thick fabric with superior drape. Knitting quickly on large needles, Diana is best used in smaller, less structured garments due to the characteristic stretch factor of rayon. We like using it as one of three elements for A, B, C stripes, and also used as one element in two color pattern stitches.
Diana is available in all our hand dyed colors. |
